Home grown company Xolo has launched the Windows Phone 8.1 variant of its recently launched Q900s smartphone (an Android version). The Xolo Win Q900s smartphone is now listed on the company’s official website at a price tag of Rs 11,999.
The Xolo Win Q900s smartphone features an 11.938-cm (4.7-inch) HD IPS display with a 720×1280 pixels resolution. It comes with One Glass Solution (OGS) and Dragon Trail Glass. At mere 100 grams, the device is the lightest Windows Phone smartphone available to date, according to Xolo. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM 8212) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports an 8MP rear camera with PureCel sensor and LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. It comes with 8GB of integral storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM device runs Windows Phone 8.1 OS out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include: GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB. It decks in an 1800mAh battery which can deliver up to 14 hours of talk time and up to 246 hours of standby time on 3G network, according to Xolo.
Meanwhile, Xolo’s Q1000 Opus 2 smartphone is also listed on an online retailer’s website at a price tag of Rs 9,780. Xolo is however yet to make an official announcement regarding the same. The Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 smartphone features a 12.7-cm (5-inch) qHD IPS display with a 540×960 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon (MSM8212) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and decks in a 2000mAh Li-ion battery.
